Volunteers
The Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic relies on the donation of time and talent of many volunteers. 191 volunteers donated over 4,000 hours of service valued at $334,007 in FY09-10 alone. 133 of these volunteers are licensed physicians, dentists, nurses or dental hygienists.

In order to insure the safety of our staff and patients, we now require criminal background checks, child abuse clearance and FBI fingerprinting for all new volunteers. While volunteers must pay for the latter two background checks, we reimburse the volunteer for these expenses after 10 hours of volunteer services are provided and a receipt is submitted for the reimbursement.
