Appointments are required for all clinical visits. We are sorry, but we are unable to accomodate walk-ins due to our busy schedule.
For Medical Services:
Patients are provided with one free medical appointment if a screening by staff indicates that the person meets the clinic’s eligibility requirements. The next step is an eligibility appointment.
Additional treatment and other services, such as medications and testing, will be provided at no charge if eligibility is approved. Eligibility is reviewed every six-twelve months or when the patient’s circumstances change.
Every effort is made to assist patients in finding the best and most affordable alternatives for their healthcare, including free or low-cost health insurance.
For Dental Services:
Dental services are provided by appointment only and clinics are set up according to the availability of volunteer dentists and hygienists. Unfortunately, we are not able to respond to dental emergencies and care is limited to urgent dental needs only.
To be screened for a medical or dental appointment, call 215.345.2260 and select #2. Please call during business hours, Monday - Friday, 9am to 4pm. We are unable to provide screening, discuss a medical condition or make appointments by email.
Our eligibility requirements include proof of:
- Residency within the clinic service area - Before-tax household income within 250% of the Federal Poverty Level ($27,225 for one person, $36,775 for two in the household, etc.). - Cash assets under $2,000 ($20,000 if in a retirement fund such as a 401k or IRA)
We consider the total income and assets from all sources for all persons living in the household, whether or not they are related to the patient.
Patients with household incomes within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level ($21,780 for one person, $29,420 for two persons, etc.) are eligible for all services at no charge, although they may be asked to purchase low-cost generic medications, if required to treat their condition.
Patients with household incomes between 200% and 250% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible for free medical and dental visits. These patients apply to Doylestown Hospital for charity care to cover the cost of testing and are responsible for the cost of their medications.
